Howard University Hospital and Howard University Faculty Practice Plan COVID-19 Vaccine information & Updates

Howard University Hospital and the Howard University Faculty Practice Plan are working in conjunction with the District of Columbia Department of Health (DC Health) and District of Columbia Hospital Association (DCHA) to safely implement an equitable strategic COVID-19 vaccine distribution plan in accordance with the city’s COVID-19 vaccine guidelines - Phase 1b Tier 3 and Phase 1c Tier 1, including postal workers, frontline transit workers and court workers, as well as people ages 16 to 64 with high-risk conditions are eligible. At this moment, vaccination appointments are available for District of Columbia residents, ages 18 to 64 with qualifying medical conditions.

COVID-19 Vaccine Q & A

The vaccination clinic is located in the lobby of the Howard University Hospital building between the hours of 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday. There are no appointments necessary. We will also continue to provide free COVID-19 testing to students, faculty and staff at the on-campus testing center located in suite 3600 of the Howard University Hospital (HUH) Towers building.
