All major University gatherings have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Effective March 1, 2022, the District of Columbia government lifted restrictions on capacity limits for group gatherings and events. However, the University will continue to maintain some requirements for campus-wide indoor and outdoor gatherings. Approved occupancy will depend on the venue’s capacity with required protocols.
- Will allow in-person group events, gatherings, or meetings, and promote social distancing of at least 3 feet between people and required masks. However, virtual experiences will be encouraged.
- In-door recreation areas and theater venues, including Cramton Auditorium, will be open with a seating capacity that follows the University’s indoor guidelines, maintaining social distancing and mask requirements. Chapel services will continue virtually until further notice.
- Outdoor group gatherings larger than 100 individuals require approval through University protocols. Mask usage is required, as well as three-foot social distancing, where feasible.
